Voter Registration Drive

September 4, 2018

OCCUPY THE VOTE. But are you registered?

We welcome and encourage you to join the Urban League of Westchester as we remember the efforts of courageous leaders who stood their ground for all to have the opportunity to VOTE. Every year millions of Americans find themselves unable to vote because they miss a registration deadline, haven’t updated their registration, or aren’t sure how to register.

The Urban League seeks to create broad awareness of voter registration opportunities to reach thousands of voters who may not register otherwise. We are entering a critically important time in the history of our nation, and it is our mission to enable disenfranchised members of the community to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power and civil rights through economic empowerment. We believe that in order to better elevate the standard of living in historically underserved urban communities, we must make our voices heard by exercising our constitutional right to vote.

Our goal is to register All Eligible local residents to vote for every level of government.

The Urban League of Westchester County will serve as a voter registration site on National Voter Registration Day, Tuesday, September 25th through Friday September 27th, located at 61 Mitchell Place, White Plains, NY 10601.

Please contact us by email at ulwestchester@gmail.com for more information. We are excited about this collaborative effort in our shared mission to register to vote all persons otherwise entitled to.
